At Manta Ray Campervans, we believe a campervan is much more than just a vehicle – it's your escape, your home away from home and the start of countless adventures. Every conversion we build is created with the same care, attention to detail and pride that we'd expect if it were our own.
The business was founded by me, Ian, from a lifelong passion for building, creating and producing high-quality craftsmanship. Before starting Manta Ray Campervans, I spent over 20 years working in engineering, mould making and paint finishing, developing the skills, precision and eye for detail that are now at the heart of every campervan we build.
Although I enjoyed my career, I always had the ambition to create something of my own, something I was truly passionate about. That passion for campervans, travel and quality craftsmanship inspired me to establish Manta Ray Campervans, with one simple goal: to build campervans that are finished to the highest possible standard while providing an honest, personal service from start to finish.

Our family is at the heart of everything we do. My two boys often come up to the workshop and enjoy getting involved wherever they can, whether that's lending a hand with smaller jobs, helping keep the workshop tidy or simply sharing the excitement of seeing each project come together. It's something they genuinely enjoy, and we hope that by involving them, we're passing on the same values of hard work, pride in craftsmanship and great customer service that Manta Ray Campervans is built on.
As a family business, our reputation means everything to us.
